WHAT ARE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS?
•The device is used to extinguish or control small fires and are intended to be used for ‘out-of-control’ fire.
•Fire extinguishers are portable cylinders with an agent kept in pressure which can be then discharge to extinguish fire.
•Depending on the typology of fire to be extinguished, the agent used to fill the extinguishers will defer and thus establishing 5 major types of ‘FIRE EXTINGUISHERS’:
NOTE: Extinguishers should be installed at the height of 1.5M, of ht. from the Floor. (Top nozzle of the cylinder should be at Finish Floor Level)
